B–ON Welcomes Former Nissan Exec Nicolas Tschann As New CCO Amidst European Growth
B–ON, a provider of efficient electric mobility solutions, has announced the appointment of Nicolas Tschann as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). Tschann, previously head of light commercial vehicles at Nissan, joined B–ON on 1 July. He will oversee all sales, marketing, and aftersales operations as the company expands its European market presence.
Tschann's arrival coincides with B–ON's strategic partnership with global automaker Chery. This collaboration involves a joint venture focused on developing, producing, and selling affordable electric commercial vehicles. The partnership grants B–ON access to Chery’s manufacturing and supply chain resources while providing Chery with B–ON’s extensive sales and branding network in Europe and North America.

Bruno Lambert, CEO and co-founder of B–ON, expressed enthusiasm about Tschann joining the team. "Nicolas’ global experience, including ties to both Europe and China, will make him a huge asset to us as we continue to scale our business," Lambert said. "We welcome him on board at the perfect time, as our cost-effective Pelkan undertakes its first European tour. It will be a big summer for B–ON."
B–ON recently conducted a series of ride-and-drive events featuring their all-electric Pelkan light commercial vehicle (eLCV). These events took place from 2 to 10 July in Hilden, Germany, and Verona, Italy. Attendees had the opportunity to review the Pelkan and experience demonstrations of B–ON’s fleet management and energy management services.
The Pelkan tour aimed to showcase B–ON’s ecosystem of services designed for medium and large fleets. This comprehensive approach offers a one-stop solution for electrifying commercial transportation needs. The events were targeted at select customers and media representatives.
Nicolas Tschann's Extensive Experience
Tschann brings over two decades of experience in the automotive industry to his new role at B–ON. A French native, he began his career with Nissan in 2001 and played a pivotal role in launching the INFINITI luxury brand in Europe. His career includes significant roles in marketing, sales, network development, product definition, and product launch.
Before joining B–ON, Tschann led Nissan’s commercial vehicle division in Europe from Paris. His extensive background makes him well-suited to drive B–ON’s growth strategy across new markets.
