Automobili Lamborghini Launches Redesigned San Francisco Showroom Featuring Full Hybrid Vehicle Lineup
Automobili Lamborghini recently unveiled its revamped San Francisco showroom, showcasing its complete hybrid vehicle lineup. The event featured the new twin-turbo Temerario super sports car, the V12 plug-in Revuelto HPEV, and the Urus SE Super SUV. Andrea Baldi, CEO of Lamborghini Americas, attended the celebration following record-breaking sales in early 2024.
"California continues to be the best performing market in the United States with 25% of total sales in the first half of 2024," stated Andrea Baldi. "As we complete the third step in our Direzione Cor Tauri electrification strategy, California is primed for a successful second half of the year and beyond with the introduction of our full hybrid lineup, including the Temerario, Revuelto and Urus SE Super SUV. With the new electrified models and the latest corporate design and technology updates, Lamborghini San Francisco is better positioned to serve its loyal clientele by providing a further elevated brand experience."
The redesigned showroom at 620 Du Bois St, San Rafael, CA, highlights Italian automotive excellence with cutting-edge super sports cars and SUVs. It features a modern corporate design and advanced technology for an immersive brand experience. Visitors can explore Collezione fashion items and Accessori Originali offerings alongside an Ad Personam customization room for bespoke car personalization.
Lamborghini's global success is evident with 5,558 cars delivered in the first half of 2024, marking a 4.1% increase from 2023. The U.S. remains Lamborghini's top market with 1,637 units sold. This growth supports their Direzione Cor Tauri electrification program as they hybridize their entire vehicle line.
The event allowed guests to view the full hybrid lineup together for the first time since August's Monterey Car Week premiere of the Temerario. This model succeeds the Huracán with over 900 horsepower and accelerates from 0-62 mph in just 2.7 seconds.
The Revuelto HPEV boasts a powerful 6.5-liter V12 mid-engine paired with three electric motors and an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. It delivers more than 1,000 horsepower and reaches a top speed of 217 mph. Meanwhile, the Urus SE Super SUV offers a hybrid version with an impressive output of 789 horsepower.
Environmental Impact
Lamborghini's commitment to sustainability is reflected in their hybrid models' performance metrics. The Revuelto has combined fuel consumption figures of 11.86 l/100km and CO2 emissions at 276 g/km under WLTP standards. When its battery is discharged, fuel consumption rises to 17.8 l/100km.
The Urus SE also demonstrates efficiency with combined fuel consumption at just 2.08 l/100km and CO2 emissions at 51.25 g/km when fully charged. However, these figures change to a higher consumption rate when operating on a discharged battery.
This showroom refresh coincides with Lamborghini's significant growth phase as they continue advancing their electrification strategy through innovative hybrid technology across their vehicle range.
