Automobili Lamborghini Launches Unique Miami-Inspired Urus SE During Art Basel 2024 Event
Automobili Lamborghini recently showcased a unique Urus SE at a private event in Miami Beach. This special edition, inspired by Miami's vibrant culture, highlights the endless possibilities of Lamborghini's Ad Personam customisation program. The Urus SE is the brand’s first plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) version of their popular Super SUV, featuring an 800 CV hybrid powertrain.
The Miami-inspired Urus SE required an additional 230 hours of painting and testing beyond the usual process. This effort showcases the extensive range of customisation options available through Lamborghini's Ad Personam program. Mitja Borkert, Design Director at Automobili Lamborghini, stated, "With this authentic piece of art, we have created the most sophisticated livery ever seen on the Urus."
The exterior design features striking Blu Glauco highlights contrasted with greys and black. The front lip in Nero Noctis is accented by Blu Glauco details. Bicolor mirror caps in Grigio Telesto with a Blu Glauco pinstripe add elegance, while the rear diffuser in Nero Noctis is detailed with matching highlights.
Inside, the Urus SE boasts unicolor leather upholstery and dedicated kick plates. A dashboard commemorates the occasion with "MIAMI" detailed on polished carbon fibre. The unveiling event was attended by key executives including Stephan Winkelmann, CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, Federico Foschini, Chief Marketing and Sales Officer, and Andrea Baldi, CEO of Automobili Lamborghini America.
During the event, guests also viewed the new Lamborghini Temerario. This model features a twin-turbo V8 hybrid powertrain that delivers 920 CV and accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds. It succeeds the legendary Huracán model.
Lamborghini's Record-Breaking Year
This celebration coincides with Lamborghini announcing record-breaking results for 2024’s first three quarters. Global vehicle deliveries increased by 8.6% to 8,411 units compared to the same period in 2023. The brand has fully hybridised its model range, setting a strong foundation for future growth.
Lamborghini remains committed to positive projections for 2025 by leveraging growth momentum from 2024. Continuous investments focus on enhancing products and ensuring sustained improvement as part of this vision.
