Kia Seltos New Variants Launched – Automatic Becomes More Affordable
Kia has made an exciting announcement for SUV enthusiasts with the introduction of two new automatic variants of the Seltos. The newly launched Kia Seltos HTK+ petrol-CVT is now available at Rs 15.40 lakh, and the diesel-AT variant at Rs 16.90 lakh, both prices being ex-showroom.
This move not only broadens the options for buyers but also brings down the entry point for those interested in automatic transmissions. Previously, the CVT and torque converter automatic gearboxes were limited to the higher HTX trim.

Now, with the introduction of these options in the HTK+ trim, Kia has reduced the price barrier by Rs 1.18 lakh for the petrol CVT and Rs 1.28 lakh for the diesel-AT variant. This strategic move is expected to attract a broader range of customers to the Seltos lineup.
The HTK+ trim, known for its popularity among the Seltos range, has been further enhanced with new features. Buyers can now enjoy a panoramic sunroof, drive and traction modes, and additional conveniences like paddle shifters, LED-connected tail lamps, and a leatherette-wrapped steering wheel.

Kia has also introduced a new exterior colour, Aurora Black Pearl, adding to the aesthetic appeal of the vehicle. Kia didn't stop at the HTK+ trim; updates have been rolled out across other trims as well.
The high-end HTX, HTX+, GT Line, and X Line trims now feature an auto up/down function for all four windows. The HTK trim has been upgraded with LED DRLs, keyless entry, and push-button start/stop features.
Moreover, the base HTE trim now offers five additional exterior colour options, catering to diverse customer preferences. With a starting price range from Rs 10.90 lakh to Rs 20.35 lakh (ex-showroom), the Seltos continues to be a strong contender in its segment, competing against models like the Creta and Grand Vitara.
