Autoglym Honoured With Royal Warrant From King Charles III For Car Care Products
Autoglym, the UK's largest vehicle care brand, has been granted a Royal Warrant from His Majesty King Charles III for the supply of car care products to the Royal Household. This marks the fourth successive Royal Warrant for Autoglym since 1991, making it the only car care manufacturer among the 145 companies included in this round.
The company has held Royal Warrants for over 32 years, initially awarded by the then Prince of Wales. Subsequent Warrants were granted by the late HM Queen Elizabeth II and the late HM The Queen Mother. Autoglym products will continue to maintain and protect all vehicles in the Royal Household’s fleet, including The King’s daily limousines and state cars used for formal occasions.
Paul Caller, CEO of Autoglym, expressed pride in receiving the Royal Warrant: "We’re immeasurably proud to once again be granted a Royal Warrant by His Majesty. It says a great deal that our products are entrusted to maintain and protect the lustre of some of the most visible and valuable vehicles in the world."
The diverse Autoglym range will continue to be used on all vehicles in the Royal Household’s fleet. This includes two Bentley limousines provided for Queen Elizabeth's Golden Jubilee, a 1950 Rolls-Royce Phantom IV, a 1962 Rolls-Royce Phantom V, and a 1977 Rolls-Royce Phantom VI. The latter was most recently used by Princess Eugenie during her wedding day in 2018.
His Majesty’s private fleet also includes a 1970 Aston Martin DB6 Volante, gifted by the late Queen for his 21st birthday and famously used by The Prince and Princess of Wales on their wedding day in 2011.
To be eligible for a Royal Warrant, a company must have sold goods or services to a member of the Royal Family for at least five years. The application process requires demonstrating strict service and support criteria, along with progress in environmental awareness and compliance.
