Auto Trader Launches Series Two Of 'Show On The Road' With Star-Studded Lineup

Auto Trader's popular podcast, "Show on the Road," returns for its second season after a successful first series that garnered over 1.9 million minutes of listening time. This new season features a diverse lineup of celebrities, including broadcaster Roman Kemp, pop star Olly Murs, former racing driver Billy Monger, and author Giovanna Fletcher.

Auto Trader’s podcast aims to drive more car buyers to retailers' adverts. The nine-part series is hosted by Alex Legouix and takes celebrities on road trips to places significant to their lives. Each episode reveals unique stories from the guests' personal and professional journeys.

The second season includes a variety of guests such as Dr. Alex George, content creator Big Manny, presenter Zara McDermott, musician Olly Murs, and disability activist Lucy Edwards. This diverse lineup helps attract a wide range of listeners with different interests.

Building on the success of the first series, which achieved over 18 million impressions, the new season aims to draw even more consumers to Auto Trader's platform. This year alone, Auto Trader has recorded over 506.5 million visits, marking a 9% increase from last year.

"Show on the Road" will be promoted through various channels including radio ads, digital media, and public transport advertisements in Manchester. Additionally, a dedicated YouTube channel will host full episodes along with bespoke social media activations for each guest.
