Auto Expo 2025: Commercial Vehicles Likely To Shine Bright  With Innovations

The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, scheduled from January 17th to 22nd, promises to be a significant event in the automotive industry. Over 1,000 brands and 800 auto component manufacturers from 13 countries will participate. Key exhibitors include Tata Motors, Ashok Leyland, Mahindra, JBM Auto, and SML Isuzu. The Ministry of Commerce and Industry is organising this event to display a variety of products such as trucks, buses, three-wheelers, and technological solutions.

Focus On Electric Vehicles

This year's theme, 'Beyond Boundaries: Co-Creating the Future of the Automotive Value Chain,' aims to position India as a leader in mobility. The focus is on promoting electric vehicle adoption. Union Minister of Commerce & Industry Piyush Goyal highlighted the expo's importance in attracting investments and boosting trade and exports in the mobility sector.

Tata Motors plans to showcase its latest passenger and commercial vehicles. They might introduce new electric trucks and hydrogen fuel-powered vehicles. Ashok Leyland could launch its "Dost" platform-based van along with LNG and hydrogen-powered trucks. TI Clean Mobility is expected to debut its Montra electric four-wheeler truck. Mahindra may reveal its electric Veero range.

Exhibition Venues

The Auto Expo 2025 will cover 200,000 square meters across three venues: Yashobhoomi in Dwarka, India Expo Centre and Mart in Greater Noida, and Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. It will feature nine shows focusing on various automotive industry aspects like components, technology, urban mobility, and infrastructure. More than 20 conferences are planned with over 5,000 global buyers expected.

Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicles (VECV) is likely to display current offerings alongside potential electric buses and trucks. Cummins plans to present advanced powertrains and zero-emission platforms at the expo. Their focus will be on fuel efficiency and reducing environmental impact.

For those planning to attend the expo, booking tickets online in advance is advisable due to the event's large scale. Visitors should plan visits across different venues considering the expansive nature of the event. Using public transportation is recommended to avoid parking issues.
