Audi Of America Unveils Pricing And Specifications For The All-New 2025 Q6 E-tron Model Line
The 2025 Audi Q6 e-tron, priced from $63,800, is Audi's latest electric vehicle. It leads the brand's next-generation models set to launch over the next two years. The rear-wheel-drive version offers an EPA-estimated range of 321 miles with the ultra package. Audi has announced that by the end of 2024, it will offer 11 battery electric vehicles across its four e-tron model lines: Q4 e-tron, Q6 e-tron, Q8 e-tron, and e-tron GT. The introduction of the Q6 e-tron marks a significant step in Audi's electrification journey. This model is built on the new Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture, which also supports new internal combustion engine models like the A5 and Q5 arriving next year.
The Q6 e-tron introduces cutting-edge technologies such as a new MMI user interface supported by Audi's E3 electronics architecture. This model exemplifies Audi's "progress through technology" philosophy, aiming to provide a seamless EV ownership experience. The rear-wheel-drive variant stands out as the longest-range SUV in Audi's BEV lineup.
Three versions of the 2025 Audi Q6 e-tron will be available in the U.S.: rear-wheel drive, all-wheel drive quattro®, and SQ6 e-tron models. Each features a 100-kWh battery pack supporting DC fast-charge speeds up to 270 kW (260 kW for RWD). They can charge from 10% to 80% in just 21 minutes.
The rear-wheel-drive Q6 e-tron generates 302 hp (322 hp with launch control), reaching 60 mph in 6.3 seconds with a top speed of 130 mph. Equipped with the ultra package, it achieves an EPA-rated range of 321 miles per charge. The quattro® version offers more power at 422 hp (456 hp with launch control) and reaches 60 mph in 4.9 seconds.
The SQ6 e-tron delivers even more power at 483 hp (509 hp with launch control), achieving a top speed of 143 mph and an EPA-rated range of 275 miles. Standard features include sport adaptive air suspension, sport seats, and carbon fiber inlays.
Efficient Motor Design
All Q6 e-tron models feature redesigned motors that are more efficient and compact than previous Audi BEVs. The rear motor weighs only 261 pounds, reducing drag losses by about half compared to earlier systems. Direct cooling via a dry-sump electric oil pump keeps components at optimal temperatures.
The front axle of quattro® models includes a new asynchronous AC induction motor (ASM). These motors are designed for scalability across future Audi products using PPE architecture. The compact design reduces installation space by about 30% compared to older motors.
Battery-Charging Capabilities
The lithium-ion battery pack consists of 12 modules with a total capacity of 100 kWh (94.4 kWh net). It supports DC fast-charging up to 270 kW (260 kW for RWD) thanks to its advanced architecture and thermal management system.
Standard Level 2 AC charging is supported up to rates of 9.6kW (240V/40A). An optional setup will allow AC charging up to 19.2 kW (240V/80A). The Plug & Charge function simplifies charging at compatible stations without needing payment cards or RFID tags.
Exterior Design Features
The Q6 e-tron's design targets the premium mid-size SUV segment, fitting between larger Q8 and smaller Q4 models in Audi’s lineup. Its dimensions provide ample interior space while maintaining true SUV proportions for excellent visibility from elevated seating positions.
The exterior combines elegant surfaces with structured elements for improved aerodynamics while visually segmenting the vehicle into dynamic proportions typical of other Audi Q models but introducing new design elements unique to this model line-up.

The PPE platform provides generous interior space for occupants and luggage alike; offering up to60 cubic feetof storage when rear seats are folded down separately ina40:20:40 configuration alongwith additional storage available upfront trunk area too!
