Aston Martin Launches New Vantage In India: Engineering Meets Luxury
Aston Martin New Delhi has unveiled the all-new Vantage in India, priced at ₹3.99 Cr plus personalised options. This latest model continues a 74-year legacy, blending performance, luxury, and heritage. Aston Martin aims to redefine sports car excellence in the Indian market with this launch.
The new Vantage is a modern interpretation of high-performance sports cars, addressing contemporary market demands. It celebrates qualities cherished by enthusiasts for decades: breathtaking power, sharp handling, and a finely tuned front-engine, rear-wheel-drive chassis.

Performance and Engineering
The Vantage features a heavily reworked 4.0 Twin-Turbo V8 engine, producing 665PS and 800Nm of torque. This marks a 30% increase in power and 15% in torque over its predecessor. The engine's enhancements include improved cam profiles, optimized compression ratios, and larger turbos.
Mated to an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission, the Vantage reaches a top speed of 202mph and accelerates from 0 to 60mph in just 3.4 seconds. A new Launch Control system optimizes torque deployment for maximum performance.

Design and Features
The exterior design of the new Vantage is striking, featuring an aggressive front grille, aerodynamic lines, and a dynamic silhouette. Inside, the cabin offers luxury and technology with premium materials and advanced driver-assistance technologies like adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist.
The interior combines sleek lines with hand-stitched Bridge of Weir hides and state-of-the-art technology. It includes a 15-speaker Bowers & Wilkins sound system and a next-gen infotainment setup with a 10.25" touchscreen.

Historical Significance
Tracing its roots back to 1950 when "Vantage" first signified an enhanced engine for the DB2, the nameplate became a model designation in 1964 with the DB5. The early 1970s saw the introduction of a standalone Vantage model known for its style, performance, and distinctive character.
This latest iteration arrives amidst Aston Martin's strong motorsport presence in the 2023 Formula One season and international GT racing. The company also plans to compete in the 2025 Le Mans 24 Hours race with the Valkyrie AMR.

Technological Advancements
The Vantage's handling benefits from a highly evolved bonded aluminum structure providing perfect weight distribution. Enhanced underbody stiffening and intelligent adaptive dampers offer precise handling and exceptional driver feedback.
Electronic Power Assisted Steering (EPAS) delivers direct responses while Michelin Pilot Sport S5 tires ensure superior grip. Standard cast-iron brakes can be upgraded to Carbon Ceramic Brakes for greater stopping power.
Aston Martin Chief Executive Officer Amedeo Felisa stated: "As we enter a period of pivotal change in the world of high-performance cars it is essential to remain true to those qualities upon which a legendary marque has been built."
Marek Reichman, Aston Martin Chief Creative Officer, added: "Aston Martin is blessed with many evocative model names, but none conjure excitement and dynamism like Vantage."
Production of the new Vantage begins in Q1 2024 with deliveries expected by Q2 2024. The car's blend of cutting-edge performance, dynamic handling, and striking design exemplifies modern sports car engineering at its finest.

The Aston Martin Vantage combines exhilarating sports car performance with luxurious design and cutting-edge technology. Enhanced safety features include intuitive physical controls and advanced systems like Chassis ESP switches.
This launch signifies Aston Martin's commitment to maintaining its legacy while embracing modern advancements in automotive engineering.
