Alfa Romeo Partners With Top Chef Canada Season 11 As Official Vehicle Sponsor And Grand Prize Contributor
Alfa Romeo has been named the official luxury SUV sponsor for "Top Chef Canada" season 11. The winner of this season will receive a 2024 Alfa Romeo Tonale plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) as part of their prize. This popular culinary competition returns on October 14 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Food Network Canada and STACKTV.
The collaboration between Alfa Romeo and "Top Chef Canada" highlights a shared commitment to excellence and innovation. Throughout the season, chefs and judges will experience the Alfa Romeo Tonale PHEV firsthand. This vehicle will transport them to various off-site challenges and cooking events, including a mid-season trip to the countryside. The sponsorship also includes Alfa Romeo branding across broadcasts and digital platforms with custom content featuring the chefs and judges inside the Tonale.
The Alfa Romeo Tonale represents a significant transformation for the brand. Known as "La Metamorfosi," it marks a new era of luxury, electrification, and connectivity while maintaining its race-inspired heritage. As Alfa Romeo's first C-SUV, it combines over 110 years of history with modern performance features.
The Tonale offers a plug-in hybrid option with up to 53 kilometres of electric range. It boasts best-in-class 285 horsepower and 347 lb.-ft. of torque. Additionally, it includes driver-assistance systems, Uconnect 5 connectivity platform with Alfa Connect, Italian styling, and dynamic driving from its Frequency Damping Suspension system.
