The Mercedes-Benz SLK is a two-seater convertible. Production of this model was discontinued by Mercedes-Benz in 2020. Ajith likely bought the car as a used vehicle. When it was available, the SLK came in two variants: the 350 and the 55 AMG.
The 350 variant was priced at Rs.79.60 lakhs, while the 55 AMG variant cost Rs.1.27 crores. The main difference between these variants is the engine capacity. The 350 variant features a 3498 cc engine, while the 55 AMG variant has a 5461 cc engine. Both engines are paired with an automatic gearbox.
Performance and Features
The SLK offers a mileage of 11.11 km per litre of petrol and is a rear-wheel-drive vehicle. The 350 variant delivers 306 bhp of power and 370 Nm of torque, whereas the 55 AMG variant provides 421 bhp of power and 540 Nm of torque.
This convertible allows the roof to be folded back at the press of a button, accommodating only two passengers. Ajith chose the black colour option from the ten available colours.
