71 Customised Kia Carens MPVs Delivered To Punjab Police – Check Out All The Interesting Add-ons

Kia India has delivered 71 specially customized Carens to the Punjab Police. These Purpose Built Vehicles (PBVs) are equipped to serve as Emergency Response Vehicles (ERVs), catering to citizens' immediate needs during emergencies. The decision to employ Carens reflects the company's vision of leading the global PBV segment by 2030.

The Carens emerged as the preferred choice for the Punjab Police due to its cutting-edge technology, connected features, spacious interiors, and enhanced comfort, especially in the third row. In terms of powertrain, these Carens vehicles are equipped with the base 1.5-litre, naturally-aspirated Petrol engine and a 6-speed manual transmission.

Furthermore, these customized Kia Carens vehicles are equipped with custom High-Intensity Strobe lights, PA Systems, & 'Dial 112' - Emergency Response Vehicle' Decals. Moreover, a larger capacity battery ensures seamless operation of additional equipment.

Notably, the Carens offers unmatched practicality with features like a 60:40 split in the second row, 55:50 split in the third row, adjustable headrests for all rows, a 12V Power Socket, and 5 USB Type-C Ports, providing utmost flexibility to Punjab Police Officials.

Safety also remains a top priority with the inclusion of High Strength Steel (HSS) structure, All wheel disc brakes, ABS, Idle Stop & Go, and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).
