2025 Nissan Kicks Receives Sub-Compact SUV Of Texas Honour From TAWA At Auto Show
The 2025 Nissan Kicks has been awarded the title of "Sub-Compact SUV of Texas" at the 2024 Texas Auto Writers Association (TAWA) Truck Rodeo. This announcement was made during the San Antonio Auto and Truck Show. The event took place on September 26-27 at Eagles Canyon Raceway in Decatur, Texas, where automotive journalists assessed various vehicles.
The latest Nissan Kicks model showcases a bold design and advanced technology. It is equipped with best-in-class standard ground clearance and a spacious interior. The vehicle's design draws inspiration from high-end sneakers, offering a unique street-smart appearance. Additionally, it features available Intelligent All-Wheel Drive and ProPILOT Assist to enhance driving confidence.
Cory Fourniquet, president of TAWA, praised the new Kicks as a compelling small crossover. "I truly believe this is a great SUV for modern Texas families that offers a lot of features that won't break the bank," he stated. The 2025 Nissan Kicks is now available for purchase with Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Prices starting at $21,830. This represents an increase of less than $500 compared to the previous model. The pricing excludes additional charges such as destination fees, taxes, and options.
During the TAWA Truck Rodeo, jurors evaluated vehicles based on several criteria including interior quality, exterior appeal, value for money, performance, and overall personal appeal. Each model was assessed within its category as well as against other participating vehicles in the event.
