2025 Nissan Armada Launches With PRO-4X Grade For Ultimate Off-Road Experience
The all-new 2025 Nissan Armada has undergone a significant transformation, enhancing on-road comfort and craftsmanship. It incorporates the latest technologies and introduces new off-road capabilities with its first PRO-4X grade. This model builds on the legacy of the Nissan Patrol, sharing rigorous testing standards and advanced technology to meet market-specific needs.
Armada's adventurous ethos was highlighted through a digital reveal in collaboration with extreme-sports content creators like mountain biker Cam Zink, free climber Ashima Shiraishi, and ultrarunner Matt James. The vehicle is set to go on sale in late 2024, with prices announced closer to the release date.
The 2025 Armada introduces its first PRO-4X grade, offering unprecedented off-road capability. This grade features all-terrain tires, an increased approach angle, underbody skid plates, an electronic locking differential, and Adaptive Electronic Air Suspension. These enhancements allow drivers to explore more challenging terrains.
Additionally, the new twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 engine provides the most standard horsepower among its competitors (excluding hybrids and EVs). Paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission, it offers an impressive towing capacity of 8,500 pounds.
The 2025 Armada includes ProPILOT Assist 2.1, Nissan's most advanced hands-off assistance technology for freeway driving. For added safety, every Armada grade comes standard with Nissan Safety Shield® 360. This ensures peace of mind for drivers on the road.
Advanced camera technologies also enhance safety and convenience. Features like the 3D Around View® Monitor, Front Wide View, and Invisible Hood View help drivers navigate tight spaces and off-road conditions more easily.
Enhanced Interior Comfort
The new Armada offers a more welcoming interior with available massaging front seats and 64-colour ambient lighting. Dual 14.3-inch screens with Google built-in connectivity and a class-exclusive 12-speaker Klipsch® Premium Audio System are also available. The vehicle boasts a 24% increase in cargo space behind the third row and improved legroom in both the first and third rows.
The design of the 2025 Armada is adventure-ready with higher ground clearance and strong proportions. High-quality elements like full-width LED tail lights, 22-inch wheels, and optional two-tone roof treatments add refinement to its robust SUV stance.
Available Grades
The 2025 Nissan Armada will be available in five grades: SV, SL, PRO-4X, Platinum, and Platinum Reserve. All grades offer a choice between rear-wheel drive and Intelligent 4WD except for PRO-4X which comes standard with 4WD.
