2025 Mazda MX-5 Miata Pricing And Features: Celebrating 35 Years Of Driving Joy
Mazda North American Operations has announced the pricing for the 2025 Mazda MX-5 Miata, marking its 35th anniversary. Known for its lightweight design and exceptional power-to-weight ratio, the MX-5 Miata continues to be a favourite among driving enthusiasts. Since its fourth generation debut in 2016, Mazda's commitment to continuous improvement has enhanced this sports car's performance.
The MX-5 Miata Sport is the entry-level model, featuring a black cloth soft top and numerous standard features. All models come with an 8.8-inch infotainment display compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Safety is prioritised with dual front airbags, side-impact airbags, and i-Activsense safety features like Blind Spot Monitoring and Lane Departure Warning.
The MX-5 Miata Club offers enhanced dynamics for enthusiastic drivers. It includes Bilstein dampers, a front shock tower brace, and an Asymmetric conical clutch type LSD. The Club model also features DSC-Track mode as part of the Dynamic Stability Control program. Design elements include gloss black front air dam and rear lip spoiler.
For those seeking additional performance, the MX-5 Miata Club with Brembo BBS Recaro package is available. This package includes Brembo front brakes with red-painted calipers, dark gunmetal 17-inch BBS forged wheels, and heated Recaro sport seats. An aero kit with gloss black side sill extensions adds to its sporty appearance.
Grand Touring Model Comforts
The MX-5 Miata Grand Touring combines performance with added comforts. Available in both soft top and RF versions, it includes features like Adaptive Front-lighting System and Traffic Sign Recognition. The Grand Touring model offers options like Tan Nappa leather seats and Deep Crystal Blue exterior colour.
All MX-5 Miata models are powered by a Skyactiv-G 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine producing 181 horsepower at 7,000 rpm and 151 lb-ft of torque at 4,000 rpm. A six-speed manual transmission is standard on Sport and Club models, while the Grand Touring offers an optional six-speed automatic transmission.
Special Edition Celebrations
A special 35th Anniversary edition will be showcased at the 2025 Rolex 24 at Daytona event on January 24th. This edition features an Artisan Red exterior colour and tan nappa leather interior, celebrating Mazda's heritage alongside the MX-5 Cup series race.
