Kia EV9 Named Best EV And Sorento Best SUV By Hispanic Motor Press In 2025 Awards
Kia America has achieved notable recognition with its EV9 and Sorento models. The EV9 was awarded "Best EV of the Year," while the Sorento, along with its hybrid version, earned the title of "Best SUV of the Year." These accolades were part of the "2025 Best Vehicles for Hispanics" awards presented by the Hispanic Motor Press at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
The awards were determined by a panel comprising over 20 Hispanic automotive journalists, content creators, and industry influencers. They evaluated vehicles based on design, comfort, safety, economy, handling, performance, functionality, infotainment integration, interior design, environmental impact, driver satisfaction, and price. The focus was on meeting the preferences of Hispanic consumers.
Steven Center, COO & EVP of Kia America, expressed gratitude for this recognition. He highlighted that the EV9 is perfect for larger families seeking a three-row electric vehicle. Meanwhile, the Sorento offers comfort and practicality with various powertrain options including gas, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid.
