2025 Kia EV6 Debuts At LA Auto Show Featuring Design Updates And Enhanced Technology
The Kia EV6, which debuted in the electric vehicle market nearly three years ago, has been significantly updated. Revealed at the Los Angeles International Auto Show, this refreshed model boasts new front and rear designs, enhanced interiors, and additional features across its trim levels. These updates aim to strengthen its standing in both the CUV and EV segments.

The 2025 EV6 showcases subtle yet impactful design changes that align with newer Kia models while maintaining its unique identity. The front features sharper angles and character lines extending from the hood to the air intake. The rear adopts a wide wing-type shape that visually connects it with the front design.
Inside, a horizontal design theme enhances the cabin's spacious feel. A standard curved dual 12.3-inch display integrates both instrument cluster and centre screen for an immersive experience. Inspired by the award-winning EV9, it includes Star Map lighting and a D-shaped steering wheel.
Kia has responded to consumer demand for greater range by introducing larger battery options for 2025. The standard 63.0 kWh battery pairs with a rear motor producing 167 hp and 258 lb.-ft. of torque. An available 84.0 kWh battery offers an estimated range of 319 miles in certain trims.
The AWD option combines dual motors delivering 320 hp and 446 lb.-ft. of torque, while the GT version reaches up to 641 hp with GT mode activated. Fast charging remains a key feature with an ultra-fast 800-volt DC system.
Convenience Features and Advanced Technology
The EV6 introduces next-gen convenience through Kia’s Connected Car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC) system offering faster processing and over-the-air updates for software related to powertrain and navigation systems. New tech additions include Digital Key 2.0 allowing smart devices as virtual keys.
Enhanced parking features such as Remote Smart Parking Assist 2 and Forward/Side/Reverse Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist add convenience for drivers. The flush door handles now deploy automatically as standard.
Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)
The 2025 EV6 continues offering Kia’s suite of ADAS including Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with new features like Junction Turning Vehicle detection among others. Highway Driving Assist helps maintain distance from vehicles ahead on certain highways.
