2025 Audi RS Q8 Performance: Unveiling The Most Powerful Production SUV From Audi Sport
The 2025 Audi RS Q8 performance is now the most powerful production combustion model from Audi Sport, boasting 631 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque. This SUV combines everyday usability with exceptional handling and acceleration, making it a standout in the Q8 lineup. Enhanced features include carbon ceramic brakes, adaptive sport air suspension, and an optimized quattro® all-wheel-drive system.
New design elements enhance the RS Q8's appearance, inspired by updates to the 2025 Q8 and SQ8 models. The front apron features distinctive air intakes and a honeycomb structure, while the rear showcases oval tailpipes and a wedge-like reflector. Matte carbon exterior packages offer further personalization options for enthusiasts.
The RS Q8 performance is equipped with a biturbo V8 engine, producing 631 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.4 seconds, reaching a top speed of 190 mph. The exhaust system reduces back pressure for increased output and a sportier sound. An optional RS sport exhaust system enhances this auditory experience.
Standard on this model is the quattro® all-wheel drive paired with an eight-speed Tiptronic® transmission for swift gear changes. The mechanical center differential distributes power between axles at a 40:60 ratio, adjusting as needed for optimal cornering precision.
RS-tuned adaptive air suspension provides a balance of comfort and sportiness, allowing ride height adjustments up to 3.5 inches. Electromechanical active roll stabilization minimizes lateral body movements during cornering, enhancing stability through electric motors on each axle.
The RS Q8 also includes all-wheel steering with high-torque electric spindle drive for improved agility. At high speeds, rear wheels align with front wheels for stability; at low speeds, they turn oppositely to reduce turning radius.
Innovative Lighting and Wheel Options
The RS Q8 performance features HD Matrix-design LED headlights with Audi laser light technology for enhanced visibility. Digital daytime running lights offer five selectable signatures, including an exclusive checkered-flag design. Digital OLED taillights provide additional customization options.
Nine paint finishes are available, including new metallic shades like Sakhir Gold and Ascari Blue. Standard matte gray elements complement the design, while optional packages offer black or matte carbon trim with unique wheel designs.
Interior Features and Technology
Inside, the RS Q8 offers red or gray RS design packages plus contrasting stitching on seats and steering wheel. Alcantara covers the steering wheel, while Dinamica microfiber adorns other surfaces. The Audi virtual cockpit plus includes shift light indicators for optimal gear changes.
The entrance LED projects "RS performance" onto the ground upon entry. Launch Control maximizes acceleration potential, achieving rapid sprints from standstill to high speed efficiently.
Availability and Pricing
The new Audi RS Q8 performance starts at $136,200 and is available for order now at Audi retailers. Deliveries are expected before year-end.
