2025 Acura ADX Unveiled: A Premium Compact SUV Designed For Young Buyers
The newly introduced Acura ADX, a premium compact SUV, is designed to appeal to younger buyers with its dynamic driving experience and turbocharged performance. This model features a luxurious interior equipped with advanced technology, including a 10.2-inch digital display and a 9-inch touchscreen interface compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The ADX will be available at Acura dealerships in early 2025.
Acura's latest offering, the 2025 ADX, aims to attract a new generation of buyers by expanding the brand's lineup. This model builds on the success of previous vehicles like the Integra. The ADX will be priced starting in the mid-$30,000s range. "The all-new Acura ADX is an exciting new gateway model for the Acura brand expanding our performance SUV lineup to four exceptional models in the most popular segments," stated Mike Langel, assistant vice president of Acura National Sales.
The ADX comes in three trims: standard, A-Spec, and A-Spec with Advance Package. The A-Spec trims offer sportier aesthetics with features like LED fog lamps and larger wheels. The top-tier A-Spec with Advance Package includes additional luxury elements such as gloss black mirrors and Berlina Black wheels, along with Google built-in services and a Bang & Olufsen sound system.
The exterior of the 2025 ADX showcases youthful styling with strong proportions and a sporty stance. Its design includes a frameless Diamond Pentagon grille and distinctive LED lights that emphasize its broad-shouldered look. The rear features dual exhaust finishers and an aggressive fascia, enhancing its wide track appearance.
Inside, the ADX offers a sporty yet comfortable cabin with premium materials. It provides ample space for passengers, featuring heated front seats and dual-zone climate control as standard. The A-Spec trim adds Ultrasuede seat trim and ambient LED lighting for an enhanced experience.
The ADX integrates user-friendly technology focused on driver convenience. It includes a 10.2-inch digital instrument display and a 9-inch touchscreen with easy-to-use controls. Standard tech features include wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto compatibility, Wi-Fi hotspot capability, and wireless charging.
Performance and Safety
Under the hood, the ADX is powered by a turbocharged 1.5-liter VTEC engine paired with a sport-tuned continuously variable transmission (CVT). This setup ensures responsive power delivery across various driving conditions. An optional all-wheel-drive system enhances handling by distributing up to 50% of torque to the rear wheels.
The AcuraWatch suite of safety technologies is standard on all models, providing features like blind spot information and adaptive cruise control. The vehicle also includes next-generation airbags designed to reduce head rotation during collisions.
Audio Excellence
The top-of-the-line ADX A-Spec with Advance Package boasts an exclusive Bang & Olufsen sound system developed specifically for this model. This audio setup includes Acoustic Lens Technology for immersive sound quality throughout the cabin.
The new Acura ADX aims for high safety ratings from both IIHS and NHTSA while offering advanced safety features as standard across all trims. With its blend of style, technology, performance, and safety features, it sets a new benchmark in its segment.
