Updated Tata Punch SUV Launched In India At Rs 6.12 Lakh
Tata Motors has launched the updated version of the Tata Punch, now featuring segment-leading attributes and new sunroof variants. The starting price for this SUV is ₹6.12 lakh (ex-showroom), with prices reaching up to ₹9.45 lakh (ex-showroom). Additionally, Tata Motors offers benefits worth up to ₹18,000 on this model. The Tata Punch has been a top performer in India's automotive market, being the highest-selling car in FY25. It also became the fastest SUV to achieve four lakh sales by August 2024. With the festive season approaching, Tata Motors anticipates a further increase in sales for this popular SUV.
Enhanced Features and Variants
The latest iteration of the Tata Punch boasts several upgraded features that set it apart in its segment. It includes a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system compatible with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a wireless phone charger, an armrest with a grand console, rear AC vents, and a Type C fast USB charger.
Tata Motors has revamped the entire lineup of the Tata Punch by introducing new variants under the Accomplished and Creative personas. The company has also made sunroof-equipped variants more affordable by adding them to the Adventure persona.
Powertrain and Design Consistency
Despite these feature enhancements, there are no cosmetic changes in the updated Tata Punch. The powertrain remains unchanged as well, offering both petrol and diesel engine options powered by a 1.2-litre motor. Transmission choices include manual and AMT gearboxes.
