2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift To Be Launched On First Week Of May: New Engine, Platform & Much More
Maruti Suzuki is set for a significant leap with the launch of the all-new 2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift on first week of May 2024. This launch is not just an update but a comprehensive overhaul of the beloved hatchback, introducing a fresh wave of technology, safety, and design enhancements.
The upcoming new Maruti Swift hatchback, following its unveiling in Japan last year, is now geared to captivate Indian consumers with its new platform, advanced features, new powertrain and improved performance.

The exterior of the new Maruti Suzuki Swift makes a bold statement with a redesigned front grille, enhanced by a chrome strip and an integrated radar module for improved safety features.
It also sports updated LED headlamps and tail lamps, contributing to a more modern and sleek appearance. The hatchback stands on sporty alloy wheels and showcases a revamped interior inspired by Maruti Suzuki's popular Baleno and Fronx models.
Inside, the Swift gets a cutting-edge 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment with wireless connectivity for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Safety gets a boost with the addition of six airbags and an electronic stability program, with the potential inclusion of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

Under the hood, the 2024 Swift is equipped with a new 1.2-litre Z Series petrol engine, capable of delivering 83bhp and 108Nm of torque. This engine is available with both manual and automatic transmission options, including a CNG variant, promising a blend of performance and efficiency.
Upcoming: DZire 2024
Following the Swift's launch, attention will turn to the new Maruti Suzuki DZire, set to inherit many of the Swift's updates. The facelifted DZire will feature redesigned LED headlamps, a refreshed front grille, and sleek 16-inch alloy wheels for an eye-catching exterior.
Inside, a floating infotainment system and slim AC vents will modernize the cabin, alongside wireless connectivity for enhanced in-car entertainment. The top-spec variant of the DZire will also offer a single-pane sunroof, adding an extra layer of luxury.

Sharing the Swift's 1.2-litre Z Series petrol engine, the DZire aims to offer improved fuel efficiency and dynamic driving performance. This update positions the DZire to firmly compete in the compact sedan market, challenging key rivals such as the Hyundai Aura, Tata Tigor, and Honda Amaze.
