2024 Lincoln Nautilus Wins IIHS Top Safety Pick+ For Outstanding Safety Features
DEARBORN, Mich., June 13, 2024 – The 2024 Lincoln Nautilus has received the TOP SAFETY PICK+ award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). This accolade follows the vehicle's successful completion of all IIHS crashworthiness tests, marking it as one of the safest vehicles on the market.
To qualify for the 2024 TOP SAFETY PICK+ award, vehicles must achieve good ratings in the small overlap front and updated side tests. Additionally, an acceptable or good rating in the updated moderate overlap front test, which now focuses on back seat safety, is required. The pedestrian front crash prevention evaluation also demands an acceptable or good rating, and all trims must feature headlights rated as acceptable or good.
The redesigned 2024 Nautilus meets all these stringent requirements. Each of its three trims comes equipped with good-rated headlights and a standard front crash prevention system that earns a good rating in pedestrian tests. The vehicle also achieved excellent scores in the updated moderate overlap test, setting it apart from lower-tier TOP SAFETY PICK award recipients.
Powertrain Options and Advanced Features
The new Nautilus offers two powertrain options: a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine and a hybrid powertrain. On the road, it features the most standard Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) in its class and is among the first vehicles to offer Lincoln BlueCruise, a hands-free highway driving feature.
