2024 Kia EV9 Recognised As Top Pick For Three-Row Electric SUVs By Cars.com
The 2024 Kia EV9, an all-electric SUV, has been honoured as Cars.com's "Top Pick: 3-Row Electric SUV." This accolade was awarded after evaluating a range of electric vehicles across five categories. Editors at Cars.com noted that no other three-row electric SUV currently matches the EV9's offerings.
"The EV9 is an ideal vehicle for a family looking to get into a three-row electric vehicle," said Brian Normile, Cars.com's road test editor. "Its spaciousness, sleek styling and relative affordability make it a solid, and logical, purchase."

The EV9 boasts ample interior space and cargo capacity, along with towing capabilities. It includes advanced in-vehicle technology such as over-the-air updates for vehicle systems. The ultra-wideband-based Digital Key and Onboard Power Generator (V2L) functionality are also featured.
Powered by a standard 76.1-kWh battery paired with a 160-kW motor, the EV9 supports DC fast-charging. Optional upgrades offer a 99.8-kWh battery in either single or dual-motor configurations. The dual-motor setup provides 283 kW with torque vectoring all-wheel drive.
The EV9 can charge from 10% to 80% in under 25 minutes when connected to a 350kW DC fast charger. This rapid charging capability is one of its standout features, making it convenient for long-distance travel.
"We’re thrilled to have the 2024 EV9 recognized as the leading three-row electric SUV by the experts at Cars.com," said Steven Center, COO & EVP, Kia America. "This award shines a spotlight on everything the EV9 brings to the table—and the fact that it’s fully electric is an added bonus."
