2024 Hyundai Creta Facelift SUV Launched In India At Rs 10.99 Lakh – New Features, Extensive Updates & More
Hyundai is aiming to further dominate the Compact SUV segment in 2024 with the launch of the new Hyundai Creta. Prices for this new SUV is priced from Rs 10.99 Lakh (ex-showroom).
Starting with the exterior, the new 2024 Hyundai Creta SUV now offers 7 different exterior shades. These colour options include Range Khaki, Titan Grey Metallic, Fiery Red Pearl, Robust Emerald Pearl, Atlas White, Abys Black Pearl, and Atlas White Dual Tone.
Apart from the new colour options, the 2024 Creta now sports a new exterior design that makes the model in line with the automaker's latest design language. Stand-out design elements include split headlamps, a large boxy-looking front grille, full-width LED DRLs and taillamps.
That being said, it is the interior of the new Creta SUV that stuns its prospective buyers with its new upmarket-looking dashboard with dual-screen setup. Out of the two screens, the one in front of the driver is the digital instrument cluster, whereas the other screen is the infotainment unit.
Standout features of the 2024 Hyundai Creta SUV include dual-zone climate control, ventilated front seats, wireless charging pad, 3D navigation, 360-degree surround-view camera, ambient lighting, connected car tech, and ADAS.
Speaking about ADAS tech, the new Creta SUV flaunts Level-2 ADAS technology with 19 features including adaptive cruise control, auto emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, collision warning assistance, blind-spot detection and much more.
In terms of powertrain options, the 2024 Hyundai Creta now features the South Korean automaker's power-packed 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine. This engine puts out 158bhp and 253Nm of torque.
Gearbox options with this engine option on the new Hyundai Creta SUV comes in the form of a 7-speed DCT unit. Other powertrain options including the 1.5-litre, naturally-aspirated petrol engine and turbocharged diesel engine are carried over from the previous model.
According to Hyundai, the new Creta SUV equipped with the Turbo petrol engine is capable of returning a fuel efficiency figure of 18.4km/l, which for a vehicle of this segment is quite commendable.
However, the most fuel-efficient of the variants is the Creta SUV equipped with the diesel engine and manual gearbox. This variant of the Creta SUV is capable of returning a fuel efficiency figure of 21.8km/l.
