2024 RS e-tron GT Arrives As The Most Powerful Audi Ever
Audi has revealed the faceifted 2024 versions of the e-tron GT, introducing new "S" and "RS Performance" models alongside the regular RS. These updated versions of the e-tron GT share many components with the new Porsche Taycan, including chassis elements and battery technology. The upgraded versions feature a more power-dense 97kWh battery and lighter, more powerful electric motors.
The e-tron GT RS Performance is the most powerful Audi of all time, delivering 912bhp. It accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in 2.5 seconds, and has an electronically limited top speed of 250km/h. The 'regular' RS model has 844bhp, a 0-100km/h time of 2.8 seconds, while the entry-level "S" model offers 669bhp and 0-100km/h time of 3.4 seconds.

Handling and dynamics have been improved with new air-suspension systems and optional fully-active dampers. The RS e-tron GT models feature advanced air suspension and an optional active suspension system.
This setup balances comfort and driving dynamics, with the Audi drive select system offering three profiles: efficiency, comfort, and dynamic. Two RS-specific modes, RS1 and RS2, are also available. The active suspension ensures excellent road grip and minimises vibrations for a smooth ride.

The new S variant sports steel brakes while the RS and RS performance models sport updated silicon coated- brake systems are standard, with optional carbon-fiber ceramic discs also on offer.
The lithium-ion battery pack in the e-tron GT family is now lighter and has a higher energy density, offering 97kWh of usable charge (up from 84kWh), a maximum range of 609km and can support charging speed of up to 320kW allowing for a 10-80 per cent charge up in just 18 minutes. The new e-tron GT also has increased the energy recovered using regenerative braking to 400kW.

The exterior features updated bumpers, grille designs, and wheel optionsand a refreshed two-dimensional exterior design, new colour options, and the Black Optics package. Interior upgrades include updated displays, new colour and trim options, redesigned seats, steering wheel, and entry sills, plus new wooden inlays and Vanadium applications. Sustainable materials such as Dinamica and fabric Cascade are used, with carpeting and floor mats made from recycled nylon fibres.
