Entries Now Open For The Iconic 1000 Miglia 2025 Car Race In Italy
The 43rd edition of the renowned 1000 Miglia race is open for entries, with the event set to take place from 17 to 21 June 2025. Participants must submit their entries by 16:00 on Thursday, 16 January 2025. Accepted entries will be confirmed by 4 April, along with a published list of accepted cars.
The race will maintain its five-day format for the third year in a row. This year's route will follow a "figure of eight" pattern reminiscent of pre-war editions. On the fourth day, at Empoli, the race will intersect its path, traversing Italy from east to west and connecting the Adriatic and Tyrrhenian seas.
Starting on Tuesday, 17 June, the journey begins at Viale Venezia in Brescia. The first leg passes through Desenzano, Sirmione, Verona, and Ferrara before concluding in San Lazzaro di Savena near Bologna. The following day, Wednesday, 18 June, drivers will navigate through the Futa and Raticosa passes, Prato, and Siena before reaching Rome's Via Veneto ramp.
On Thursday, 19 June, the third leg ascends through Orvieto, Foiano della Chiana, and Sansepolcro. The route then returns to San Marino territory before ending in Cervia-Milano Marittima. Friday's journey on 20 June takes participants from Forlì across the Apennines to Empoli. From there, they head west through Pontedera to Livorno's Italian Naval Academy before reaching Parma via Viareggio and the Cisa Pass.
The final leg on Saturday morning brings competitors back to Brescia. Each year sees an enthusiastic welcome upon arrival. To participate in this prestigious event, entrants must possess a Registro 1000 Miglia certificate. A new feature this year is a special entry fee for crews under age 30.
