Mahindra recently introduced the Thar Roxx, a five-door version of the popular Thar. This new model is larger in all dimensions and includes several features absent in the three-door variant, which has been available since 2020. The starting price for the Thar Roxx is Rs. 12.99 lakh.

ADAS Tech

The Thar Roxx incorporates a Level 2 ADAS suite, borrowing many features from the XUV700. This suite includes forward collision warning, auto emergency braking, lane keep assist, high beam assist, and adaptive cruise control.

Enhanced Interior Features

The interior of the Thar Roxx boasts all-new white upholstery, contrasting with the black theme of the three-door version. Additionally, it offers ventilated front seats with electrical adjustment for the driver and manual adjustment for the co-driver.

Bigger & Better Infotainment Unit

A significant upgrade in technology is evident with a larger 10.25-inch infotainment screen that supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The SUV also features Adrenox-connected car functions with built-in Alexa.

Advanced Safety and Convenience

Safety and convenience are enhanced with a 360-degree surround camera, blind spot monitor, and front parking sensors. These features are similar to those found in other recent Mahindra models like the XUV 3XO.

Digital Instrument Cluster

The instrument cluster has been updated to include a modern 10.25-inch digital screen, providing a more advanced display compared to its predecessor.

Sunroof Options

The Thar Roxx offers two sunroof options depending on the variant: a single pane electrically adjustable sunroof or a large dual-pane panoramic sunroof.

Electronic Parking Brake

For higher variants of the newly launched Mahindra Thar Roxx 5-door SUV, an electronic parking brake with an auto-hold function replaces the manual handbrake found in lower trims.

Premium Audio System

A premium sound system sourced from Harman Kardon enhances the audio experience in the Thar Roxx. It includes eight speakers and a sub-woofer along with various sound modes to customise output quality.

LED Lighting Setup

The lighting setup in the Thar Roxx is entirely LED-based. It features C-shaped DRLs, projector headlamps, fog lamps, turn indicators, taillamps, and even a high-mounted stop lamp.

Keyless Start/Stop Button

Unlike its three-door counterpart, the Thar Roxx comes equipped with a keyless start/stop button. However, it does not include keyless entry functionality. Additional features that set the Thar Roxx apart include larger 19-inch alloy wheels, increased boot space, an extended wheelbase, 60:40 split rear bench seats, auto headlamps, and automatic wipers.
