1,850bhp Zenvo Aurora Arrives With Hybrid Quad-Turbo V12 & Psychotic Sprint Times
Danish hypercar manufacturer Zenvo has revealed the all-new Aurora. The Zenvo Aurora hypercar is offered in Agil (agile) and Tur (touring).
The Aurora marks the second chapter in the story of Zenvo, a bespoke hypercar manufacturer based out of Præstø on the Danish island of Zealand. The Zenvo Aurora will be limited to 100 units - 50 of each variant.

The most significant change in the all-new Aurora from Zenvo is the new hybrid powertrain that powers this mid-engined hypercar. The hybrid setup consists of a 6.6-litre quad-turbo V12 and one electric motor for the RWD Agil, while the Tur goes AWD with two more motors at the front.
The engine is an all-new unit developed for Zenvo by Mahle Powertrain. Zenvo claims this is the most powerful V12 engine ever fitted to a road car. The new engine named Mjolnir after Thor's Hammer revs to 9,800rpm and pushes out 1,250bhp.

In the Agil, the engine is aided by a single electric motor that adds 200bhp. This pushes the Aurora Agil's total output to 1,450bhp and 1,400Nm all of which is sent to the rear wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
The Tur is a bit more bonkers adding two extra motors to the front axle of the Danish hypercar that ups the total output to a bonkers 1,850bhp and 1,700Nm of peak torque. Both versions of the Zenvo Aurora sport an electric reverse gear and use the same monitor to start the V12 engine.

So what do all these mad power figures translate to on the road? Well, the track-focused Aurora Agil will sprint from 0-100km/h in 2.5 seconds, hit 200km/h in 4.6 seconds, 300km/h in 10 seconds before topping out at 365km/h. The touring spec Aurora Tur is even crazier going from 0-100km/h in 2.3 seconds, hitting 300km/h in 9 seconds, and 400km/h in 17 seconds before topping out at 450km/h (all figures mentioned are Zenvo's estimates).
To keep both versions of the Zenvo Aurora glued to the tarmac, the Danish firm has fitted the staggered wheel setup with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 or 2R tyres. The Tur (PS Cup 2 only) gets aluminium centre lock wheels with the 20-inch front wheels sporting 265/35 tyres while the 21-inch rear wheels get 325/30 rubber.

The Agil, where owners can choose between 2 and 2R rubber sports for their magnesium centre lock wheels sports the same size tyres as the Tur. Both versions of the Aurora sport Zenbvo's own carbon-ceramic discs though the Danish firm hasn't specified the size of the anchors.
The Zenvo Aurora sports a Carbon composite monocoque with carbon composite exposed sub-frames. The body panels too are made from the same lightweight carbon composite material. The active suspension system on this tyre-shredding quick hypercar includes pushrods at the front and a double wishbone setup at the rear.

In terms of design, the Agil is all about the downforce and features cuts and slats and a massive rear wing. The Aurora Tur, on the other hand, is the more pure version of the hypercar thanks to its cleaner look.
The interiors of the Aurora sports a triple display setup behind the steering wheel with the cabin draped in proper luxury material for the Tur while the Agil looks more like a carbon-fibre torture cell.

Thoughts About The Zenvo Aurora
The Zenvo Aurora is an extreme hypercar no matter which mad version of it you buy. While the Aurora Agil is for the track-bound thrill seekers looking to carve chunks of time around corners, the Tur is a luxury grand tourer that can devour straights and autobahns if you just tap the loud pedal a bit too hard.
