Upcoming Mahindra Electric SUVs Teased – 200km/h Top Speed & More
Mahindra has been heavily investing in electric vehicles and electric propulsion technologies in recent years. In fact, Mahindra is currently developing 3 new electric SUVs and the company showcased these three models through its latest teaser videos.
These three upcoming electric SUVs from Mahindra include XUV.e8, XUV.e9, and BE.05. Together, these upcoming electric SUVs from Mahindra give us a glimpse of the future product lineup from the automaker.
That being said, all three electric SUVs featured in the teaser video were wrapped under camouflage stickers. However, despite the heavy camouflage, we can clearly see many similarities between all three electric SUVs.
It is also worth mentioning that the upcoming XUV.e8 electric SUV will be launched at the earliest. According to sources, the Mahindra XUV.e8 electric SUV is expected to make its official debut before the end of 2024.
Following the launch of the Mahindra XUV.e8 electric SUV, Mahindra is likely to launch the XUV.e9 electric SUV. This coupe SUV is likely to make its debut by mid-2025, and likely to hit Indian roads before the end of 2025.
That being said, the Mahindra BE.05 electric SUV has already achieved a production-ready appearance, and this model is likely to make its debut before the end of 2025. Out of these three electric SUVs, it is the BE.05 that boasts the most sophistication.
In the teaser video, we can also see that the speedometer reading on one of these SUVs registered 200km/h. This figure stands as a testament to the performance of these upcoming electric SUVs.
It is also worth mentioning that all three upcoming electric SUVs from Mahindra are built on the same INGLO platform. Also, this platform is designed to accommodate both all-wheel-drive and rear-wheel-drive configurations. Moreover, the power figure for these models are expected to hover around the 400bhp mark.
