Mahindra Bolero Neo+ Ambulance: Quality & Versatility At Rs 13.99 Lakh
Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. unveiled their innovative Bolero Neo+ Ambulance. Adhering to the AIS:125 (Part 1) standards for the Type B Ambulance segment, the Neo+ is characterized by its quality, versatility, and readiness to cater to various geographical markets, from urban to rural landscapes.
The Bolero Neo+ Ambulance, an extension of the Bolero Neo introduced in 2021, is enhanced with a larger wheelbase providing a roomier cabin, and a more potent 2.2L mHawk engine to cater to the specific needs of ambulance operators throughout various markets.

Coming to the pricing part, the Bolero Neo+ Ambulance retails for Rs 13.99 Lakh (ex-showroom), while its Government e-Marketplace (GeM) price is set at Rs 12.31 Lakh.

Speaking about the new Mahindra Bolero Neo+ Ambulance, the model features the Gen-3 chassis with a high-strength steel body shell. The vehicle houses a commanding 2.2-litre mHawk engine coupled with a 6-speed transmission in a rear-wheel-drive setup,
According to Mahindra, this powertrain in the Bolero Neo+ is tuned for a power output of 120bhp and peak torque of 280Nm. This enables to model for swift emergency response times. Despite possessing a larger wheelbase than its precursor, the Bolero Neo+ Ambulance is compact enough to navigate city traffic with ease, yet rugged enough to tackle tough terrains in rural areas.
This combination of power, agility, and capacity makes the Bolero Neo+ Ambulance a superior option to small van-based alternatives and more efficient and practical than larger coach-based ambulances.
As mentioned earlier, the Bolero Neo+ Ambulance adheres strictly to the AIS:125 (Part 1) standards for the Type B Ambulance segment. Also, it comes equipped with several features designed to enhance efficiency and patient care, such as a one-person stretcher mechanism, oxygen cylinder provision, a washbasin assembly for hygiene, and a public address system for convenient communication in emergencies.
