Toyota To Grab Eyeballs At Auto Expo 2023 – LC300, Innova Hycross, Prius & More
Toyota is planning big for the upcoming Auto Expo 2023 and the Japanese auto giant is expected to showcase some of its international models as well.
Apart from that, the upcoming Auto Expo 2023 will be the Japanese car manufacturer's first-ever appearance at the auto show. That being said, we also expect Toyota to showcase its GR (Gazoo Racing) models and future automotive tech.
As such, we expect Toyota to showcase cars such as the new Land Cruiser LC300, Innova Hycross, Prius, Mirai and more. Out of these cars, Toyota has already launched the Innova Hycross in India, whereas the Mirai is being tested by the International Centre for Automotive Technology to understand the feasibility of hydrogen fuel cell cars in India.
Starting with the Toyota Land Cruiser LC300, the full-size SUV already has a long waiting period in almost all markets the model has been launched. Moreover, many Toyota fanatics in India are also waiting for the SUV and we expect the LC300 to grab a lot of eyeballs at the upcoming Auto Expo 2023.
The next model to garn the most attraction at the Toyota pavilion will be the recently launched Innova Hycross. This latest generation of Innova completely ditched the diesel engine and ladder frame chassis. Also, this new model is bigger than the Innova Crysta and comes with an option for strong hybrid engine option as well.
We also expect the latest-generation Toyota Prius to make it to the Auto Expo 2023 as the model has received a lot of praise by the international media. Also, the new Toyota Prius will showcase the Japanese car manufacturer's prowess in Hybrid powertrain systems as well.
Also, we expect to see the Toyota Mirai at the Auto Expo 2023. This model will be quite interesting as the Government of India has taken a keen interest in Hydrogen fuel cell technology and the model is currently being tested by the International Centre for Automotive Technology.
As a wild card entry, we also expect to see the GR Corolla hatchback at the Auto Expo 2023. This hatchback features a 1.6-litre, turbo petrol engine with more than 300bhp of peak power and comes with a sophisticated all-wheel-drive system and a 6-speed manual gearbox with rev-matching technology.

Toyota is one of the biggest automotive brands in the world. As such, executives at Toyota will be spoilt for choice on which models to display at the Auto Expo 2023. However, we expect the above-listed models to make the most sense for India given the current business plans of the Japanese automaker.
