Toyota Land Cruiser 300 Deliveries Commence In India – Costs Rs 2.17 Crore
Toyota has finally commenced the deliveries of the much-awaited Land Cruiser 300 SUV in India and the first official customer of the SUV took the delivery in Maharashtra.
Diving into details, the bookings for the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 SUV were closed very soon in India due to high demand. In fact, the waiting period for the Land Cruiser 300 shot up as high as 4 years in some international markets.
Speaking about the Toyota Land Cruiser 300, it is the latest generation in the Land Cruiser lineup of SUVs and the model is in its sixth generation. Apart from that, the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 features an evolutionary design language and looks more like a heavily facelifted version of the Land Cruiser 200 Series SUV.
In fact, the size of the Land Cruiser 300 is almost identical to the Land Cruiser 200 Series. Moreover, the wheelbase of both SUVs are also identical at 2,850mm. However, it is worth mentioning that the Land Cruiser 300 SUV is 10mm wider and 5mm shorter than the previous iteration of the Land Cruiser.
That being said, the new Toyota Land Cruiser 300 is a completely new SUV built on an all-new GA-F platform. As a result, the new Toyota Land Cruiser 300 is much lighter than its immediate predecessor and the weight distribution of the latest generation of Land Cruiser has also improved.
Coming to the powertrain options, Toyota has ditched all powertrain options that were available on the Land Cruiser 200 Series. In its place, Toyota is now offering two V6 engine options in the new Land Cruiser 300 SUV and both V6 powertrains feature a sophisticated 10-speed automatic transmission.
Starting with the petrol engine, the 3.5-litre, turbocharged V6 petrol engine makes 409.32bhp of peak power and 650Nm of peak torque. On the other hand, the 3.3-litre turbocharged V6 diesel engine puts out 305bhp of peak power and 700Nm of peak torque. It is also worth mentioning that the petrol engine option is not available in India.
The new Toyota Land Cruiser LC300 comes with a long list of features to make every drive a little bit more convenient and easier. The SUV comes with all the latest features such as a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, 4-zone automatic climate control system, wireless charging, multiple USB charging ports, 14-speaker JBL premium audio system, heated steering wheel, moonroof, heated and ventilated seats, and many more.
