June seems to be another exciting month for those looking forward to buying a new car. In fact, major car manufacturers in India have already scheduled plans for the launch of their respective products and here is a list of the top 5 upcoming cars in June 2023.

Maruti Suzuki Jimny

Maruti Suzuki is all geared up to officially launch the Jimny SUV in the first week of June. It is among the most awaited car launches of this year and the automaker has already bagged more than 30,000 bookings for the model.

The Maruti Suzuki Jimny is powered by a 1.5-litre, naturally-aspirated, 4-cylinder petrol engine with 103bhp and 134Nm of peak torque. Gearbox options include a 5-speed manual transmission and a 4-speed automatic unit. Also, we expect all variants to come equipped with four-wheel drive and a low-ratio transfer case.

Hyundai Exter

Hyundai Motor India has already opened bookings for the upcoming Hyundai Exter SUV, and we expect the South Korean automaker to launch the SUV in June 2023. Also, the booking amount for this upcoming SUV has been capped at Rs 11,000.

The Hyundai Exter SUV will be powered by a 1.2-litre, naturally-aspirated petrol engine with 82bhp and 113.8Nm of torque. Moreover, gearbox options include a 5-speed manual transmission and a 5-speed AMT gearbox. There will also be a CNG variant as well.

Honda Elevate

Honda is all geared up to debut its upcoming Elevate SUV on June 6. When launched, this upcoming Japanese SUV will compete against the likes of C-segment SUVs such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun and more.

We expect, the upcoming Honda Elevate SUV to be powered by the same 1.5-litre, naturally-aspirated, 4-cylinder petrol engine as the 5th generation Honda City. This engine in the Honda City puts out 120bhp and 145Nm of torque.

Mercedes-AMG SL

Mercedes-Benz India is all set for the launch of the Mercedes-AMG SL 55 Roadster on June 22. This performance model is powered by a 4.0-litre, twin-turbo V8 with 465bhp and 700Nm of torque, and it can accelerate to 100km/h in just 3.9 seconds.

Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV

German luxury car manufacturer, Mercedes-Benz is also looking expand its EV lineup with the introduction of the all-electric EQS SUV in India. We expect, this upcoming electric SUV from Mercedes-Benz to be launched next month.

The upcoming Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV is offered in three variants in the international markets. The EQS 450+ variant offers the best range at 660 kilometres on a fully charged battery pack, whereas the EQS 580 4MATIC is the most powerful with 536bhp and 858Nm of torque.
