Tesla Cybertruck Owners Can Breathe A Sigh Of Relief - Futuristic Pickup Deliveries To Start On This Date
American electric vehicle trailblazer Tesla has finally revealed that the massive and bonkers-looking Cybertruck pickup is set to hit the roads in November.
The news was revealed as a part of Tesla's Q3 2023 financial results, where the company revealed that "pilot production" of the Cybertruck had begun at Gigafactory Texas. The company also confirmed that the initial delivery event for the Tesla Cybertruck will take place on the 30th of November.

The Cybertruck, with its futuristic design and advanced features, has been a hot topic since its unveiling in 2019 when it had its first blooper event when its bulletproof windows cracked up during a demonstration by boss Elon Musk.
Deliveries of the Tesla Cybertruck were initially scheduled for 2021 but the pandemic and delays in production caused by the unique wedge-shaped Cybertruck's design kept on pushing back the delivery date.

Interestingly now, Tesla has updated its "installed annual vehicle capacity" to include the Cybertruck for the first time. The company claims it already has the capacity to produce "over 125,000 Cybertrucks" per annum at its facility in Gigafactory Texas.
However, this doesn't mean that Tesla will instantly reach this output. It's more likely that the company has built the production lines to accommodate this capacity, but actual production will gradually ramp up over time.

The production progress at Gigafactory Texas has been steady and the facility pushed out its first Cybertruck in July. And considering how previous Tesla delivery events have gone, expect quite a few of the edgy electric pickup trucks to be present for customers to pick up on the 30th of November.
Thoughts About The Tesla Cybertruck

The Tesla Cybertruck represents a significant leap in the electric vehicle segment. Its insane wedge design, coupled with Tesla's proven electric powertrain technology, makes it something that customers were willing to wait for despite all the delays.
Tesla's rivals like Ford and Rivian have taken advantage of the delays and have already pushed out their electric pickups onto the street in the form of the F150 Lightning and the R1T. However, if Tesla manages to get its production issues behind them, then established carmakers will find it hard to beat the quirky Tesla.
