Tesla Cybertruck Deliveries Kick Off: Variants Including Cyberbeast Detailed
Tesla has officially begun delivering its much-anticipated Cybertruck, the futuristic all-electric pickup that it revealed to the world 4 years ago in 2019.
The first set of customer Cybertrucks were handed over to their respective owners at Tesla's production facility in Texas yesterday. The American firm also revealed details about the three variants of the electric pickup truck.

Cybertruck's three models - Single-Motor, Dual-Motor All-Wheel Drive (AWD), and Tri-Motor All-Wheel Drive - also known as 'Cyberbeast' - but not all of them are available to purchase right now.
The Single-Motor Cybertruck, the most affordable model, won't be available until 2025. Its horsepower remains undisclosed, but it can sprint from 0-96.5km/h (0-60 miles/hour) in approximately 6.5 seconds. The estimated range for this model is 402 kilometres, and it starts at a price of $60,990 (Rs 50.83 lakh).

The Dual-Motor AWD Cybertruck is available for delivery and offers 600hp. It can go from 0-60 miles/hour (0-96.5km/h) in just 4.1 seconds. This model has the longest range among the three variants, with an estimated 547 kilometres on a single charge. It starts at a price of $79,990 (Rs 66.67 lakh).
The top-of-the-range variant, the Tri-Motor All-Wheel Drive Cybertruck which Tesla has dubbed 'Cyberbeast', is also currently available for delivery. It offers a staggering 845hp on tap and can dash from 0-60 miles/hour (0-96.5km/h) in a mere 2.6 seconds. The estimated range for this model is 515 kilometres, and it starts at a price of $99,990 (Rs 83.34 lakh).

The Cyberbeast is also the most capable of three models on offer. It offers up to 443mm of ground clearance in Extract Mode, weighs in at 3.1 tonnes and has a towing capacity of nearly 5 tonnes.
It is no slouch on the drag strip either, with a video package showing it beat a 911 while towing another behind over a quarter mile. The Cyberbeast has a top speed of 209km/h.

Thoughts About The Tesla Cybertruck
These specifications were unveiled during the Cybertruck's delivery event at Tesla's factory in Austin, Texas. The first ten deliveries have been made to Tesla employees, with production expected to ramp up in the forthcoming months. However, with over two million reservations placed for the Cybertruck, it is unclear when Tesla will be able to fulfil all the pre-orders.
As Cybertruck starts its journey on the roads, it stands as a testament to Tesla's ability to push boundaries and stand out from the crowd. As Elon Musk said during the delivery event, thanks to the Cybertruck, "Finally the future will finally look like the future".
