Tata Nexon Goes Through A Brick Wall – Images Go Viral
A car going through a brick wall is not an everyday incident. As such, images of a Tata Nexon SUV almost passing through a brick wall have gone viral over the internet.
What is even more interesting is that the Tata Nexon SUV in question bears minor damages despite going through a brick wall. These images further reiterate the build quality of the sub-4m SUV.
Though the details regarding the accident are scanty at best, the images reveal that the Tata Nexon SUV crashed into a compound wall that is made of bricks. Furthermore, the accident looks more like an error from the driver's end rather than a high-speed impact.
Speaking about the Tata Nexon, the sub-4m SUV from Tata Motors is among the safest SUVs currently on sale in India. In fact, the Tata Nexon SUV is the first Indian SUV to score a 5-star safety rating for adult occupant protection by Global-NCAP.
The Tata Nexon is powered by two engine options. The 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine produces 118bhp and 170Nm of torque. On the other hand, the 1.5-litre, turbocharged diesel engine produces 108bhp and 260Nm of torque. Gearbox options include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed AMT gearbox.
At present, prices for the Tata Nexon SUV starts from Rs 7.80 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base 'XE' variant with 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine and goes all the way up to Rs 14.35 lakh (ex-showroom) for the XZA+ Lux Red Dark trim with diesel engine and AMT gearbox.
Thoughts About The Tata Nexon SUV
These viral images further iterate the build quality of the Tata Nexon SUV and such images have worked very positively for Tata Motors' reputation in recent years. That being said, Tata Motors will soon launch the new SUVs in India including the facelifted version of the Nexon SUV.
