Tata Motors has unveiled the new Tata Nexon facelift in India ahead of the festive season. According to Tata Motors, bookings for the new Tata Nexon facelift is expected to commence on September 4, and the model is scheduled to be launched on September 14.
One of the biggest talking points about the Tata Nexon facelift is its new design, and the model now features split headlamps and a thick upper grille section with the Tata Motors logo. Other than that, the model also gets vertically stacked headlamps in a trapezoidal housing.

Coming to the rear, the new Tata Nexon facelift now gets a full-width LED light bar, new taillamps, new rear bumpers, a prominent faux skid plate and more. That being said, the silhouette of the Nexon facelift remains similar to the outgoing model.
The next big set of changes on the Tata Nexon facelift has been introduced inside the model. In fact, the Nexon facelift now gets an all-new dashboard with an all-new two-spoke steering wheel. Furthermore, the updated model now features a touch-based climate control setup.
In terms of features, the Tata Nexon facelift gets a large 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, an equally large fully digital instrument cluster, a 360-degree surround-view camera, connected car tech, a wireless charger, ventilated front seats, an air purifier, and much more.
Some of the noticeable safety features on the new Tata Nexon facelift include standard fitment of 6 airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), ABS, EBD, ISOFIX childseat anchoring points, parking sensors, emergency and breakdown call assistance, and more.
The Tata Nexon facelift comes with two engine options. The 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine continues its duty and produces 120bhp and 170Nm of peak torque. On top of that, this powertrain can be specified to three transmission options - A 6-speed manual, a 6-speed AMT, and a 7-speed DCT gearbox.
On the other hand, the 1.5-litre, turbocharged diesel engine puts out 114bhp and 260Nm of torque. It is also worth mentioning that this powertrain can be specified with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed AMT gearbox.
Thoughts: The new Tata Nexon facelift is expected to fully dominate the sub-4m SUV segment and significantly boost the sales figures of Tata Motors in the coming months. Furthermore, we have no doubt that the new Nexon facelift will be one of the best-selling cars this festive season.
