Tata Nexon Facelift Spied Undisguised – Launch Soon
The facelifted version of the Tata Nexon SUV is one of the most-awaited cars. Now, ahead of the launch of the Tata Nexon facelift, the model has been spied testing without any disguise.
Analysing the spied images, the facelifted version of the Tata Nexon SUV now sports a completely new front and rear section. In fact, the model looks very futuristic with its split headlamp design and Y-shaped LED taillamps.
Other interesting design details on the Nexon facelift include an LED light bar on the boot lid, vertically stacked reflector, a new rear spoiler with the wiper neatly hidden beneath it, and new alloy wheels. That being said, the side-view of the Nexon facelift is quite similar to the outgoing model.
Other than these changes, it is also worth mentioning that the undisguised Tata Nexon facelift test mule was spotted wearing a new Purple shade. We expect this new shade to be available on the higher-spec variants.
As per the previous spy shots of the Tata Nexon facelift, the upcoming model will feature an all-new two-spoke steering wheel with an updated dashboard with touch-sensitive controls. Additionally, most of the test mules were even spotted with fully digital instrument cluster and larger infotainment unit.
Coming to the powertrain, the upcoming Tata Nexon facelift is expected to sport a more powerful 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine with around 125bhp and 225Nm of peak torque. On top of that, this powertrain is also likely to be offered with a DCT gearbox.
That being said, we also expect the upcoming Tata Nexon facelift to be powered by the same powertrain as the outgoing model. This includes a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine with 118bhp and 170Nm of peak torque.
There is also a 1.5-litre, turbocharged diesel engine with 114bhp and 260Nm of torque. It is also worth mentioning that both powertrains can be specified with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed AMT gearbox.
Thoughts: People are already having high expectations on the upcoming facelifted version of the Tata Nexon SUV. That being said, we expect Tata Motors to launch the facelifted Nexon anytime during this festive season.
