New Teaser Confirms The Launch Of The Tata Nexon Facelift – Check Out All Details
In recent times, numerous spy shots of the upcoming facelifted version of the Tata Nexon SUV flooded the internet. These spied images prove that the model has reached its final production form - Hinting at an imminent launch of the model in the Indian automobile market.
Now, ahead of the launch of the much-awaited Tata Nexon facelift, Tata Motors has confirmed the launch date of the model through its latest teaser video. According to the teaser video shared on social media platforms, the upcoming Tata Nexon facelift will be launched on September 1.

That being said, the Tata Nexon is currently one of the best-selling SUVs in the country and the model is dominating the sub-4m SUV category. Apart from that, the Nexon is competing against well-accomplished competitors such as the Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Mahindra XUV300, and more.
Given such a scenario, we expect the upcoming Tata Nexon facelift to further dominate the segment in the coming months with an even bigger margin. As such, Tata Motors already has very high expectations for the model.
In terms of design, the upcoming Tata Nexon facelift now sports a completely new front and rear section. Also, the model looks very futuristic with its split headlamp design and Y-shaped LED taillamps.
Other noticeable design details on the upcoming Tata Nexon facelift include an LED light bar on the boot lid, a pair of vertically stacked reflectors, a new rear spoiler, a neatly hidden rear wiper, and new alloy wheels.
That being said, the side view of the Nexon facelift remains similar to the outgoing model. It is also worth mentioning that the upcoming Tata Nexon facelift will be available in a new Purple shade.
Coming to the interior, the latest spy shots reveal that the upcoming facelifted version of the Tata Nexon SUV will sport a fully digital instrument cluster and a larger 10+ inch infotainment unit, along with an all-new dashboard and a two-spoke steering wheel with a backlit logo.
Coming to the powertrain, the upcoming Tata Nexon facelift is expected to be powered by a new 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine with around 125bhp and 225Nm of peak torque. On top of that, this powertrain is also likely to be offered with a DCT gearbox.
That being said, the existing 1.5-litre, turbocharged diesel engine is likely to be retained. This powertrain in the outgoing model puts out 114bhp and 260Nm of torque. It is also worth mentioning that both powertrains can be specified with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed AMT gearbox.
