Tata Nexon Facelift Bookings To Commence Today – Petrol & Diesel Engines, AMT, Manual, & DCT
Tata Motors will commence the bookings for the new Tata Nexon facelift SUV today, and the model has been scheduled to be launched on September 14. That being said, the outgoing version of the Tata Nexon SUV is currently among one of the best-selling SUVs in the country.
As such, the automaker has high expectations for the upcoming model, thanks to a long list of changes. These changes include a redesigned exterior and interior along with new features and transmission options.

Coming to the powertrain, the upcoming Tata Nexon facelift SUV will come with two engine options. The 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine produces 120bhp and 170Nm of torque. On top of that, this powertrain can be specified to three transmission options - A 6-speed manual, a 6-speed AMT, and a 7-speed DCT gearbox.
On the other hand, the 1.5-litre, turbocharged diesel engine puts out 114bhp and 260Nm of torque. However, this powertrain only comes with two transmission options - A 6-speed manual and a 6-speed AMT gearbox.

Design changes include completely redesigned front and rear sections. However, the side profile is somewhat similar to the outgoing model. On the inside, the upcoming Tata Nexon facelift SUV now sports a horizontally layered dashboard, which further accentuates the width of the cabin.
In terms of features, the upcoming Tata Nexon facelift SUV comes with features such as a large 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, an equally large fully digital instrument cluster, a 360-degree surround-view camera, connected car tech, a wireless charger, ventilated front seats, an air purifier, and much more.
Additionally, Tata Motors revealed that the upcoming Tata Nexon facelift SUV will be available in 6 different exterior shades. This includes Ocean Grey, Flame Red, Daytona Grey, Pristine White, Fearless Purple, and Creative Ocean.
Thoughts: The upcoming Tata Nexon facelift SUV is expected to fully dominate the sub-4m SUV segment in India and significantly boost the sales figures of Tata Motors in the coming months.
