New Tata Harrier Facelift SUV Boasts Improved Mileage – Check Out All The Details Here

Tata Motors recently made the festive season a lot more interesting by opening bookings for the Tata Harrier facelift SUV and the Tata Safari facelift SUV. Furthermore, the brochure of both these upcoming SUVs reveals plenty of details.

That being said, the Tata Harrier facelift SUV continues to be powered by the same 2.0-litre, turbocharged, 4-cylinder, diesel engine. Like the previous model, this engine can either be specified with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission unit.

However, despite sporting an identical powertrain set up as the pre-facelift model, the upcoming Tata Harrier facelift mileage figures show a marginal improvement. We expect this improved fuel efficiency figure to be negligible in real-world conditions.

Looking into numbers, the Tata Harrier facelift SUV equipped with the manual transmission now returns a fuel efficiency of 16.8km/l, which is an improvement of 0.45km/l over its predecessor. Weirdly, the mileage of the automatic variant of the Harrier facelift remains identical to the previous model.

Tata Harrier Facelift Interior

Speaking about the Tata Harrier facelift, the SUV features a completely revamped front and rear section. As a result, the new Tata Harrier facelift looks very futuristic and sophisticated. That being said, the side profile of the Harrier facelift remains similar to the pre-facelift model.

On the inside, though the remains of the pre-facelift model can be spotted and identified, the changes made to the interior of the Tata Harrier facelift remains quite substantial and lifts the overall premiumness of the cabin.

Some of the noticeable changes on the interior of the Tata Harrier facelift SUV include a layered dashboard, a new 4-spoke steering wheel with illuminated logo, a large 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, and a bigger 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment unit.

In terms of features, the Tata Harrier facelift SUV comes equipped with top-shelf stuff such as a 360-degree camera, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, paddle shifters, gesture-controlled powered tailgate, ambient lighting, and much more.

The new Tata Harrier facelift SUV also features ADAS tech for added safety. This safety feature could be extremely useful in a variety of situations. Moreover, the ADAS suite will help the Tata Harrier facelift SUV better compete against the Mahindra XUV700 SUV.

Thoughts About The New Tata Harrier Facelift SUV

It is the manual variant of the Tata Harrier facelift which witnessed an improved fuel efficiency figure and the fuel efficiency of the automatic variant remains the same as its predecessor. That being said, the difference in fuel efficiency figures is very small and insignificant in the real world.
