Skoda Launches Slavia & Kushaq Elegance Editions In India - Prices Start At Rs 17.52 Lakh
Czech carmaker Skoda has launched the Elegance Editions of the Slavia and Kushaq in India. The Skoda Slavia Elegance Edition is priced at Rs 17.52 lakh while the Kushaq Elegance Edition commands a price tag of Rs 18.31 lakh (all prices ex-showroom).
The limited-run versions of the Slavia sedan and Kushaq sport blacked-out exteriors and quite a bit of extra kit over the top-spec Style variants of the two Skoda vehicles.
Both the Slavia and Kushaq Elegance sport a deep black paint scheme contrasted by shiny chrome bits on the surrounds for the grille and the new dual-tone alloy wheels with the Kushaq sporting the 17-inch Vega units from its Monte Carlo version.
The shiny chrome can also be found in the form of Elegance badges on the B-pillars of both vehicles as well as on the door mouldings. The Slavia also sports some extra chrome bits on its boot. Both Elegance Editions also sport puddle lamps.
The interiors of both the Slavia and Kushaq Elegance Edition also get a few upgrades in the form of Elegance badges on the steering wheel and the seat cushions. Both vehicles sport new floor mats as well as aluminium pedals, and headrest cushions. The Slavia Elegance Edition also sports scuff plates on its door sills that bear the 'Slavia' name.
Underneath the bonnets of the special Elegance Editions of the Slavia and the Kushaq is the same turbo petrol engine that propels the Style variant of the SUV and sedan. The 1.5-litre forced-induction petrol powerplant pushes out 148bhp and 250Nm of torque.
The Skoda Kushaq and Slavia Elegance Editions are being offered in both manual and automatic variants. The manual transmission option is a 6-speed unit while the automatic gearbox is the Volkswagen Group's 7-speed DSG box.
