Skoda Kushaq Lava Blue Edition SUV Launched At Rs 17.99 Lakh – Sits Below Monte Carlo
Czech car manufacturer Skoda has launched the Skoda Kushaq Lava Blue Edition SUV in India at Rs 17.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India) and this latest special edition of the Kushaq SUV sits just below the Monte Carlo edition of the SUV.
Furthermore, the Skoda Kushaq Lava Blue Edition features 'Lava Blue' exterior shade and this newly launched edition of the Skoda Kushaq SUV is available in both manual and automatic transmission variants, and the latter is priced at Rs 19.19 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
That being said, the Skoda Kushaq Lava Blue Edition comes exclusively with the 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine. This powertrain produces 148bhp of peak power and 250Nm of peak torque.
Changes on the exterior of the Skoda Kushaq Lava Blue Edition include chrome finish on the front grille ribs, front and rear mud flaps, chrome garnish on the lower part of the door and tailgate, and 'Edition' plaquette on the B-pillar.
The interior also comes with a few additional elements such as 'Kushaq' scuff plates, puddle lamp on each door with Skoda logo projection, and a set of Lava Blue Edition headrest pillows and textile mats.
In terms of features and safety systems, the new Skoda Kushaq Lava Blue Edition comes with all of the features and safety systems available in the top-spec 'Style' trim level.
Speaking about the Skoda Kushaq, the Czech SUV is built on the same MQB-A0 IN platform as the Skoda Slavia sedan, and both models come with two petrol engine options - A 1.5 TSI engine and a 1.0 TSI engine.
Recently, Skoda has also updated these powertrains to comply with the latest RDE and BS6 Phase 2 emission norms in India, and these updated powertrains according to Skoda are more fuel efficient as well as compatible with the latest E20 petrol.
