Sachin Tendulkar, the "God of Cricket," is a name that resonates with sports enthusiasts worldwide. But there's another side of Sachin that many admirers do not know. He's an avid automobile enthusiast; even though he's not very vocal about it, we can confirm his taste by looking at his garage.
The God of Cricket recently added an Italian Bull - Lamborghini Urus S, which costs Rs 4.18 crore, to his star-studded garage. The Urus S focuses on luxury and customization compared to its sibling Urus Performante, which is Rs 4 lakh pricier than Urus S.
The key feature of the Lamborghini Urus S is the suspension system. The Urus S uses an air suspension that can be adjusted for height, providing a smoother and more comfortable ride. On the other hand, the Performante has a fixed-coil setup, which is lower and designed for improved handling.
Urus S also has a new sporty bumper and dual-tone bonnets with cooling vents. The SUV also provides an option to upgrade the standard leather to Alcantara. We're still waiting to receive information on Sachin's choice of upholstery.
Underneath the hood, the Urus S has a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, generating an impressive output of 657bhp and 850Nm of torque. This powerful engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and an advanced all-wheel drive system.
There are three additional off-road driving modes - Sabbia, Neve, and Terra, and the usual modes - Strada, Sport, and Corsa. Lamborghini claims Urus can do 0-100 km/h in 3.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 305 km/h.
The Urus S is the Little Master's first-ever Lamborghini. Earlier, he had a Ferrari 360 Modena, which was gifted to him by Michael Schumacher. Sachin is a car guy who knows his cars well and always keeps a low profile.
Sachin Tendulkar has been spotted in exotic cars several times during his weekend drives, and recently he was spotted in a Porsche 911 Turbo S in Mumbai. BMW being his favorite brand, he has a collection of BMW 7-Series Li, BMW X5M, BMW i8, and a BMW 5-Series.
