Porsche Reveals Most Powerful Cayenne Of All Time
German sportscar manufacturer Porsche has revealed the most powerful version ever of its Cayenne SUV. Dubbed the Porsche Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid, this version of the firm's flagship SUV pushes out 728bhp.
The new Porsche Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid sits atop the model lineup for the updated Cayenne which underwent its mid-cycle refresh earlier this year. The new Turbo E-Hybrid model is offered with both the 'regular' Cayenne as well as the Cayenne Coupe.

Powering the Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid is a twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 engine that is aided by a single electric motor. The V8 engine on its own produces 590bhp while the motor adds an additional 173bhp for a total of 728bhp. The peak torque figure for the system is rated at 950Nm.
The Porsche Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid sprints from 0-100km/h in just 3.7 seconds and can hit a top speed of 295km/h. The Cayenne Coupe Turbo E-Hybrid is offered with an additional GT Package which cuts the 0-100km/h sprint time to just 3.6 seconds and raises the top speed to 305km/h.

The electric motor on the Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid draws power from a 25.9kWh battery pack that delivers a range of 82km on a single charge. The battery charges up in 2.5 hours with the on-board 11kW charger.
All versions of the Porsche Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid get twin-chamber air suspension with dual-valve adaptive dampers and a torque-vectoring rear differential as standard. Porsche's active anti-roll bar system dubbed PDCC, carbon ceramic brakes and rear-wheel steering are available as optional extras.

The GT package brings the upgrades from the Turbo GT model that has been discontinued in Porsche's home market due to emission norms. The GT package lowers the Cayenne Coupe by 10mm, adds wider front wheels and increases the camber by -0.58 degrees while also making the carbon ceramic brakes standard fitment.
The GT Package also adds some cosmetic upgrades to the Cayenne Coupe in the form of specific blacked-out sections of the front bumper, black wheel arch extensions, carbon side plates on the roof spoiler, carbon rear diffuser and centrally positioned tailpipes for the titanium exhaust system.

Thoughts About The Porsche Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid
The Porsche Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid takes the updated Cayenne and turns the madness level up to 11. With 728bhp and 950Nm on tap, the Turbo E-Hybrid is the most powerful Cayenne of all time and the electrified SUV has more than enough punch to outgun louder 'Super SUVs'.
