Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition Launched In India At Rs 8.27 Lakh – Available In Multiple Variants & Added Feature
Nissan Motor India launched the Nissan Magnite Kuro Special Edition SUV in India at Rs 8.27 lakh (ex-showroom). This special edition SUV is available in three variants - XV MT, Turbo XV MT, and Turbo XV CVT.
Speaking about the new Nissan Magnite Kuro edition, the word 'Kuro' in Japanese means 'Black'. As such, the model comes with plenty of blacked-out elements. These blacked-out elements include front grille, skid plate, roof rails, door handles, alloy wheels, and the accents in the headlights.
This overall black theme is carried on the interior as well. In fact, the roof liner, sun visors, door trims, door handles, steering wheel, and AC vent surrounds carry the dark shade. This gives the Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition a sporty appeal.
In terms of features, the Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition features a distinct patterned film a 360-degree camera, a centre armrest with rear AC vents, a wireless charger, a wider IRVM, an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with a six-speaker audio system, and a few more.
Coming to safety, the Nissan Magnite SUV scored a 4-star safety rating at the Global-NCAP. Moreover, Nissan recently enhanced the safety quotient of the SUV by adding additional safety features such as an Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Traction Control System (TCS), Hill Start Assist, and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).
Like the standard Nissan Magnite SUV, the Kuro Edition of the SUV can be specified with the 1.0-litre, naturally-aspirated engine or a more powerful 1.0-litre, turbocharged petrol engine.
Looking into the specifications, the base 1.0-litre, naturally-aspirated engine produces 72bhp and 96Nm of peak torque. On the other hand, the 1.0-litre, turbocharged petrol engine puts out 98.6bhp and 160Nm of torque.
It is also worth mentioning that the Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition with the 1.0-litre, naturally-aspirated engine comes exclusively with the 5-speed manual transmission. On the other hand, the turbocharged variant can be specified with a CVT unit as well.
