Nissan Magnite GEZA Edition Bookings Open – Comes With Enhanced Features & More
Nissan India has opened bookings for the Nissan Magnite GEZA Edition SUV in the country and the booking amount for the upcoming special edition of the SUV has been capped at Rs 11,000.
According to Nissan India, the launch of the upcoming GEZA Edition of the Nissan Magnite SUV has been scheduled to take place on May 26. Also, we expect this upcoming special edition variant of the Magnite SUV to be a bit more expensive than the top-spec variants.
That being said, the Nissan Magnite GEZA Edition sports some enhanced features such as a larger 9-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, more premium JBL speakers, a rear-view camera with trajectory lines, mobile-app controlled ambient lights, beige-coloured upholstery, and more.
Speaking about the Nissan Magnite, the SUV was launched back in December 2020, and the Japanese automaker claims that it has bagged more than 1 lakh bookings for the Magnite SUV in India.
Coming to the powertrain, the Nissan Magnite SUV is offered with two engine options in India. The base 1.0-litre, naturally aspirated petrol engine produces 72bhp of power and 96Nm of torque. This engine comes exclusively with a 5-speed manual transmission.
On the other hand, the 1.0-litre, turbocharged petrol engine produces 98.6bhp of power and 160Nm of torque. This engine option can be specified with either a 5-speed manual transmission or a CVT gearbox.
It is also worth mentioning that the Nissan Magnite SUV is among the lightest SUV in its segment. Furthermore, Nissan Magnite has also scored an impressive 4-Star safety rating at the Global NCAP crash testing.
At present, prices for the Nissan Magnite SUV starts from Rs 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base 'XE' variant, and goes all the way up to Rs 10.66 lakh (ex-showroom) for the XV trim level equipped with the more powerful turbocharged petrol engine and CVT gearbox.
