LA Auto Show – Next Gen Toyota Camry Unveil Today
Toyota Camry is one of the best-selling car models across the globe. The model is known for its bulletproof reliability and comfortable cabin experience. Now, Toyota is all geared up to unveil the upcoming ninth-generation Camry at the 2023 LA Auto Show.
Starting with the design, the next gen Toyota Camry will be a lot exciting to look at with a hint of sportiness to attract younger demographic. Also, looking at the spy shots, the upcoming 9th generation Toyota Camry will be a sedan like its previous iterations.
Also, analysing the spy shots and teaser images, we can see the upcoming Toyota Camry to feature door-mounted rear-view mirrors. Such design direction not only gives a sporty look but also reduces wind noise from the A-pillar, resulting in a quieter cabin.
On the inside, the upcoming next-gen Toyota Camry is expected to come with a very futuristic-looking interior. As such, expect the next-gen Camry to come equipped with two large screens on the dashboard.
That being said, some of the noticeable tech inside the upcoming Toyota Camry include a head-up display, a fully digital instrument cluster, ADAS tech, electrically adjustable seats, multi-zone climate control system, and much more.
It is also worth mentioning that the ADAS tech is likely to include features such as adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, lane keep assist, collision warning, lane change alert, and a lot more.
Coming to the the powertrain setup, we expect the upcoming Camry to feature the 2.4-litre, Hybrid MAX engine. This engine is expected to produce around 340bhp and can be equipped with either a 6-speed manual or automatic gearbox. Also, the teaser confirms to model to feature AWD system.
Furthermore, we also expect Toyota to retain its 2.5-litre, naturally-aspirated hybrid engine as well. This engine is expected to produce more than 200+bhp and will come mated to a CVT gearbox.
