The Hyundai i20 premium hatchback is among the best-selling hatchbacks in the country and a consistent seller for the South Korean automaker in India. As such, it is a safe move to introduce a facelifted version of the i20 hatchback around the festive season to boost the sales figures.
That being said, Hyundai Motor India Limited has now launched the facelifted version of the Hyundai i20 premium hatchback in the country. So, if you are in the market to buy a new hatchback, here are 5 things you need to know about the newly updated Hyundai i20 hatchback.

Powertrain: The updated Hyundai i20 premium hatchback will be exclusively available with the 1.2-litre, naturally-aspirated petrol engine. This engine in the Hyundai i20 premium hatchback is tuned to produce 81.9bhp at 6,000rpm and 117Nm of torque at 4,200rpm.
It is also worth mentioning that the Hyundai i20 premium hatchback equipped with the CVT transmission puts out a slightly healthier 86.8bhp at 6,000rpm and 117Nm of peak torque at 4,200rpm.

Design: The Design of the updated Hyundai i20 looks very similar to its predecessor. However, a closer look reveals plenty of changes and upgrades including a new reflector-type LED headlights, updated front and rear bumpers, and a set of new alloy wheels.
Price: Prices for the updated Hyundai i20 premium hatchback range between Rs 6.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 9.98 lakh (ex-showroom) for the manual variants. Prices for the automatic variants on the other hand range between Rs 9.38 lakh and Rs 11.01 lakh, ex-showroom.

Features: Noticeable features in the new Hyundai i20 hatchback include a large 10.25-inch infotainment unit with navigation, a wireless charging pad, a cooled glovebox, a 120W charging port, a digital instrument cluster, a 7-speaker BOSE music system, a voice-enabled electric sunroof, and much more.
Safety Tech: The new Hyundai i20 hatchback comes with 26 standard safety features including 6 Airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill Assist Control (HAC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), Antilock Braking System (ABS), and Electronic Brake Distribution (BD), and many more.
