New BMW X7 Launched In India At Rs 1.22 Crore – Check Out All Details Here
BMW India today launched its flagship SUV, the new X7 in two variants and with a starting price of Rs 1.22 Crore (ex-showroom, India).
Additionally, the new BMW X7 SUV is locally produced at the German automaker's state-of-the-art facility in Chennai and the company has already opened bookings for the new X7 SUV across all dealerships in India.
It is also worth mentioning that the deliveries for the newly launched BMW X7 SUV is scheduled to commence in March 2023. Furthermore, the new BMW X7 is available in five exterior colour options - Mineral White, Black Sapphire, Carbon Black, Dravit Grey, and Tanzanite. Out of these, the latter two colour options are part of BMW Individual paintworks.
Diving into details, the new BMW X7 SUV comes with more powerful engine options, where the 3.0-litre, turbocharged, in-line 6, petrol engine puts out 380bhp of peak power and 520Nm of peak torque. On the other hand, the 3.0-litre, turbocharged, in-line 6, diesel engine puts out 340bhp of peak power and 700Nm of peak torque.
It is also worth mentioning that both engine options come with an 8-speed automatic transmission and a 48V electric motor that is capable of dishing out 12bhp of power and 200Nm of torque. As a result, the BMW X7 with the petrol engine can hit 100km/h from a standstill in just 5.8 seconds, whereas the diesel model takes 0.1 seconds longer for the same feat.
Furthermore, the user can change the character of the SUV by shuffling between Comfort, Efficient, Sport and Sport Plus modes. In tandem with this, the BMW X-Drive all-wheel drive technology monitors the driving situation and adjusts itself to ensure maximum traction, agility and vehicle stability.
Moreover, the BMW X7 comes with adaptive 2-Axle Air Suspension and other features such as Automatic Differential Brakes/Locks' (ADB-X), extended 'Dynamic Traction Control' (DTC), Hill Start Assist, Hill Descent Control, Digital Key, Cruise Control, Attentiveness Assistant, Parking Assistant Professional, Emergency Call, Real-time Traffic Information, and Remote Services.
Other noticeable features in the new X7 SUV includes a large Sky Lounge Panoramic glass sunroof, 16-speaker Harman Kardon surround sound system, BMW Curved Display with real-time traffic information and augmented view, a 12.3-inch digital information display, a larger 14.9-inch Control Display and a colour Head-up Display.
